When I was single, I used to think Christmas was my favorite day of the year. Now that I am a mom, I have changed my mind. The first day of school is my new favorite day. Let's just say it has been a long summer. Lance, Jackson and I took the girls to school today. Rachel got the teacher she was hoping for and was excited. Allie didn't get the teacher she wanted and so was a bit more apprehensive about the whole thing. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they both have a great first day so that we won't have to peel Allie off my leg tomorrow like we did today. I just got Jackson down for a nap and now I'm going to pour myself a Diet Coke, turn on the DVR and watch me some reality TV. Project Runway, here I come!

I love it...dude...you should have stopped at the McDonald's drive through for that diet coke on the way home from school!:) The girls look so cute and so old!! What is happening to them...where is the time going?
I'm with you on my favorite holiday. Although I still have a half day kindergartner which is a pain, I do enjoy going to the store with 1 instead of four. The girls looked so cute. I am glad you enjoyed your day. Reality TV and a diet coke make any day great.
