Happy Birthday to Allison and Lance
This year is flying by. Lance and Allie had their birthday on March 14. One of them turned 43 and the other turned 10. They requested a Red Velvet ice cream cake and we spent the day at Disneyland (gotta get our $$ out of those season passes.) A week earlier, we had Grandma and Grandpa, Jamie and Mackenzie, Jill and her family and our friend's the Gibsons over to celebrate the March Birthdays of Allison, Lance and Kyle. It was a FULL HOUSE. We had so much fun eating, talking and laughing.
We are so happy to have Allison in our family. She is such a thoughtful, sweet girl. She loves to draw me pictures telling me that she loves me and she really has artistic talent (this talent did NOT come from me.) She loves animals and has a very tender heart. We are so happy that she is a part of our family.
We are also so grateful for Lance. He works so hard for our family and is always there when we need him. He is the best husband and daddy one could ask for.

Jackson Turns Five
I can't believe that my baby boy has turned 5. It seems like yesterday we brought him home from the hospital. We went to Disneyland to celebrate his big day. He got to pick the toys he wanted to buy with his birthday money. He had an ice cream cake and lots of presents from his cousins and grandparents. He had a great day. We are so happy to have him in our family. He makes us laugh about 50 times a day, and want to pull our hair out 100 times a day. But when you see that dimple and he bats his blue eyes at you, it's impossible to stay mad at that boy.

Christmas 2012
If you can believe it, these are the only pictures I took while we were at my parent's house for Christmas. I guess I was having too much fun!

Eye of the Tiger
Rachel's AYSO team won 1st place in the Region 47 Under 12 division. They had an awesome team and two dedicated coaches. It is fun to see her develop her athletic ability. So proud of her.

Smartie Pants
Allie got an award from her teacher for being an excellent student. We are so proud of her and what a hard working student she is.

Thanksgiving 2012
We were able to go to Arizona to visit Lance's brother Jake and his wife Shauna for Thanksgiving. Grandma and Grandpa were there along with Jill and her family. We had a great long weekend eating, shopping, eating, shopping.....

Preschool Pie with Parents
Jackson's preschool class invited all the parents to have pie to celebrate Thanksgiving. They even helped make the pumpkin pie with their teachers. The kids are so cute and say the funniest things. I am so happy to see how much Jackson LOVES preschool. He says he wishes he could go every day. Little does he know, he soon will.

Knotsberry Farm 2013
Every Year Grandma and Grandpa take the kids who live in SoCal to Knottsberry Farm in November for Veteran's Day. There are no lines and the kids have so much fun with their cousins. Thanks to Grandpa who is a veteran. We are proud of the way he served our country honorably.

Halloween 2012
We had Spiderman (for the second time), an angel (who looks, but doesn't act, angelic) and a Pink Lady (who said at first that she wanted to wear a poodle skirt. When she saw an actual poodle skirt all pink and girly, opted for this compromise.)

Rachel turns 12, Visit from Grandma and Grandpa
My parents decided to visit for Rachel's 12th birthday. We had so much fun hanging out with them. My dad did all the fix-its in my house that I had been saving up for him. My mom did plenty of dishes and childcare while I ran around like a chicken with it's head chopped off, as usual. We went to the Ronald Reagan Library in Simi Valley. Impressive. He is the first POTUS that I remember listening to.
I can't believe that my little Rachel is finally out of Primary and has graduated into Young Womens. She is almost as tall as me, her feet are bigger than mine and she really is a beautiful, good girl. We love her so much. Even though she won't let me give her hugs, I am giving her one right now in my mind.

A Visit from the Utah Cousins
Jim and Shelley brought their bevy of beautiful babes to visit us in October. We joined them for 3 days at Disneyland. They decided to come in October because they had heard that it is much cooler and less crowded in October than the summer months. WRONG!!! It was 100 degrees in the shade and crowded as ever. Despite the heat we still had so much fun. The kids love being with their cousins.

First Day of School (7th, 4th, Pre-K)
On the first day of school Rachel decided that she is too "grown up" to take a first day of school picture. This is why she looks soooo happy that I made her do it anyway. Jackson started his first day of preschool. He really didn't want to go, but once he got there he LOVED it, just like we told him he would.
