NIGHTMARE

Don't let this blue-eyed, blond haired angelic faced baby fool you. He is a literal NIGHTMARE. I put him to bed last night at 9:00. He woke up at 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 1:00, 2:00, 3:00....you get the picture. What do I do? I need sleep....AHHHHHHHH

First Day of School

I can't believe that I have a third grader and a new Kindergardener. How can that be true when I'm only 25 years old? It has been GREAT to have both girls at the same school. After we dropped them both off and I walked away, I did a few fist pumps and Toyota Jumps to celebrate.

Vay-Cay Part Deux

I am still trying to figure out all this blogger stuff so that's why my text separated after the first picture on my previous post. I can't figure out why or how to fix it. Just enjoy the pictures while I work out the technical difficulties.

Vay-Cay

We were able to spend two weeks with my family in Utah this summer. If you know me, you know that me and vacations to Utah are cursed. I ALWAYS get sick right before, during or right after I go to Utah. I assure you, I am NOT exaggerating. This time, I got sick before we left and was sick the entire time we were there and I am still sick. Additionally, the curse has been passed to the next generation. Jackson got pneumonia and an ear infection and ended up in the ER, which brought back memories of when Rachel was a baby and she had the same thing happen while we were in Utah for a friend's wedding. Despite all the illness, we had a great time. We were very excited to see my two new nieces, Ava and Elle.

The Stars

Finally, the universe has aligned and I have all the pieces in place to continue my blog. First, I needed a new computer. I have had my brother's 7 year old Mac for 5 years now. That computer has served me well but for the past year or two it has been on it's last gimpy, gangrenous leg. I've been nursing it along but it finally became apparent to me that I needed a new one. So, off we went to the Apple Store (Lance's idea of what Heaven will look like) where we purchased an iMac. Let me just say, I LOVE THAT THING! If it came down to choosing between the new computer and chocolate (my other favorite thing in the world) it would be a very tough decision.

Next, I needed someone who could figure out how to change the ugly background I first chose back in April to something hipper and cooler. I found that person in the form of my friend Lindsay. She is AWESOME at this sort of thing. She fixed my background, designed a cool title and now I am able to show the blog to the world without being embarrassed by the cheesy background. If you want further proof of her talents, look up her website. She is also a great photographer www.vintagespicephotograpy.com Thank You Lindsay!!!
